Snyder in '16

The new year has officially begun, the last glass of champagne has been drank, all of the midnight confetti has fallen, and our team here at Snyder Entertainment has been hard at work brainstorming and exploring what’s next to come in 2016. Here’s a snapshot of what’s coming up in the next couple of months in the office and online...

DJ Diaries: Our Men, Their Music, and Memories of 2015

DJ Diaries: Our Men, Their Music, and Memories of 2015

Just like the holidays come and go before we know it, so has the year flown by for our team at Snyder Entertainment. As 2015 comes to an end, its time to pay homage to two members of our team that are hard working, music maniacs also known as our DJ’s; Brian and Brad were able to rewind back to the beginning of the year to recall some of the best moments and music, and let me put a final chapter in our 2015 DJ Diaries series. When I began thinking about this entry, I quickly jotted down a list of pretty basic interview questions. Knowing that with the creative team we have here at Snyder, and the great time we all had in 2015, I knew this would be a fun post to work on. The collection of highlights from the individual interviews gives us a glimpse back to the year’s most memorable moments and music from some of our DJ’s perspective. Our team offers insight on topics like they’re #1 requested songs, favorite events, spotlight on unique venues, and their favorite Snyder Entertainment add-on. I mean who knew Brian enjoyed the Mowtown hit “Get Up Off Of That Thang” so much that he plays it at every event, or that Brad would be requested to play “Gangsta’s Paradise” every hour at a 4.5 hour event?! There are so many good memories these guys were able to recall, so here are some of Snyder Entertainments best highlights from 2015. Enjoy!

Dell Nashville + Snyder Entertainment: Rolling Out the Red Carpet

Dell Nashville + Snyder Entertainment: Rolling Out the Red Carpet

Dell Nashville partnered with Nashville DJ Snyder Entertainment to help produce their 2015 End Of Year event at Marathon Music Works. With nearly 1000 people in attendance, we needed to create an experience for their guests that had a lot of WOW factor. Our vision came to a marquee entrance and immediately step onto the red carpet. Guests entered the front doors to find the red carpet leading them to a Step and Repeat photo opportunity. After our Snyder photographers snapped their entrance for the paparazzi, the venue was flocked in great decor to show off the Hollywood Glam theme. From there, our team provided two photo booths and our lighting package to create a really cool environment. We used wireless uplgihts that we could control from our mobile devices. Multiple monograms around the venue and a host of wireless pinspot lights. Incredible vendor team and incredible people attending the event! Our final portion was providing the DJ service for the evening...served up with all of that provided us with a packed dance floor.

We all know and love the traditional holiday anthem "Jingle Bell Rock," heck some of us might even know the whole choreographed routine in the movie Mean Girls.(Looking at you, Brian) But if there's one thing that can certainly take your holiday party from a mild-mannered "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey feel, to a truly rockin' around the Christmas tree time, it's a playlist of hip-hop Christmas music.

Small Town Tradition: The North Pole Experience + Christmas Tree Lighting

Small Town Tradition: The North Pole Experience + Christmas Tree Lighting

Since the towns incorporation in 1996, Nolensville has hosted a Christmas tree lighting that brings the town together to kick off the season of joy.  Years ago it started out at the Town Library with just a handful of residents, but as the town continued to grow, so have the crowds.  Several years ago Nolensville constructed their first Town Hall building, keeping in mind the continued tradition of the town Christmas Tree lighting.  With the growing number of people, children and expectations, the town Mayor, Jimmy Alexander, turned to Mint Springs Farm and Snyder Entertainment to help. Mayor Alexander wanted to not only host the annual Christmas tree lighting, but he also wanted to give the community a full on Christmas production, larger than years before.
