Creating a corporate event in Nashville can be a difficult task as our residents have a discerning eye for style, class, and authenticity. With a thriving city and a Fortune 500 company sitting close to the heart of the city, the stakes get even higher. We started working with Texas computer maker, Dell Computers, to assist in producing their end of the year event for their Nashville campus. After talking with representatives at Dell, we decided this was going to be more of a production and celebration, rather than just another corporate event. With nearly 1,000 people expected to be in attendance, we knew that we needed to create an experience. An experience that left guests partyin' like they were with Jay Gatsby, and one that encompassed a lot of "WOW" factor.
Our team collaborated with many members to help create a winning culture that celebrated the achievements of their sales force, their time and commitment to Dell, and their value to the company. The idea was to have an old school, Hollywood Glamour type of night. Upon entering, we literally rolled out the red carpet; the marquee entrance greeted the guests outside, a valet would open the door leading them to a Step and Repeat photo opportunity. We worked very closely with some of our local partners to create the marquee entrance and it really was a statement piece. Our next stop was equipped with our photography team from Snyder Entertainment, a.k.a. our paparazzi, taking formal shots on the red carpet with customized banners we had created for the event as the background.

After stepping off the red carpet, the guests entered into the venue. From that point, guests would enter the venue and grab a drink at the bar, enjoy fine foods from our catering team. The venue was decked out in vintage glam decor, channeling the roaring 20's mixed with mod furnishings. Photo Booths in the corners of the room allowed for couples and groups of friends alike to grab some props, take fun pictures, and send them home with a keepsake from the evening. The Snyder Entertainment design team put together a fun filled graphic design for both of our photo booths on site for the evening. Incredible chandeliers were appropriately placed throughout the ceiling, and to highlight them we brought out our wireless pinspots to accent those fine details; this helped in creating and connecting the Hollywood theme. We used wireless up-lgihts around the room to create the ambiance and warmth of the venue. We also used multiple customized Dell monogrammed lights around the room to personalize the event. The poles were draped in a sheer cloth, and we used a cool white to help add to the glam look throughout the night.

On the stage that evening was Nashville DJ, Brian Snyder. Brian was able to control all of the lights through his mobile device, and created some eye catching movements with the beat of the music and lights going strong together! The playlist spanned from Heavy D and The Boyz to Nelly, onsite mashups of Uptown Funk and other Top 40 hits. A packed dance floor and photos galore all came together for a pretty epic evening.
Well, after the collaboration and vendor selection, I do believe it all came together. Thanks to support of vendor donations from Intel Security, Adobe, and Microsoft we were able to get creative to really set the stage for this event. We are grateful for partners like Dell that make this Nashville DJ company a dream come true.
