You normally think of business owners as a little rough around the edges or even cold. But not Alderman Snyder (he is very active in his hometown, Nolensville). Many people know Brian from his radio days over at 107.5 The River or his decade at Dell, but Snyder Entertainment has always been in the life plan for Brian. After a whirlwind wedding and event season, the Snyder team is taking this holiday week to rest, recoup, and relax with friends and family. Not only do we consider ourselves lucky that we get to provide entertainment for couples' weddings, but we are thankful to be able to work with amazing professionals, brides and grooms, and each other. While we still have a round of December holiday parties and weddings, we wanted to take a look back at our awesome couples from this past year! We thank you for letting us be a part of such major moments in your lives, and we are thankful to be able to do what we do!
This bride is a special family friend of the Snyder Entertainment team. When Hope reached out to Brian about her wedding, we were so excited to be involved! Ken and Hope had a beautiful wedding at Rippavilla Plantation in Spring Hill, TN. Brad Ford was there to keep her guests on the dance floor. There wasn't a moment where Hope was sitting - she danced all night long! Darcy Ferris Photography caught the priceless moments of the night and shared them with us!
Back in July, we had the pleasure of working with one of the sweetest couples, Annie and Danny, to plan the entertainment for their Mint Springs Farm wedding. Their wedding was very unique because we were able to work closely with their band, Mo's Sol Band. We had a blast coordinating different songs and transitioning from live music to more mixed DJ music with them. It certainly added a special touch to Annie and Danny's night! We were so excited to find out that this blue and white China print wedding had been featured on One Fab Day's wedding blog! Enjoy Annie and Danny's July wedding captured by Teale Photography!
We were honored when Rae reached out to us to help with her and Phillip’s wedding. I will be honest and say that I wondered if we could bring the same “view of the world” to her wedding that she brings out in her images. I knew it would start with the music. As you can imagine Rae doesn’t necessarily listen to Top 40 radio every day. So there was the challenge of making her dance floor as unique and diverse as she is as a person but also finding those guilty pleasure anthems that everyone knows. The second part of the equation was setting the tone and mood. So we brought our open air photo booth, LED uplighting by Chauvet and Dance Lighting. At the end of the night I felt like we were able to capture the personalities of Rae and Phillip.

Since last weekend was the official beginning of the college season, I felt it appropriate to do a special article of my own on weddings in the fall…also know as football season.
After reading some of the articles, my first thought was, “Don’t these people have way more important topics to be writing about?” It’s New York Times for goodness sakes. My second thought was, ”Shucks, they make some ridiculous but true points.”
It's officially fall! The Snyder team is not only excited for the change in season, but we are thankful! The landscape will change to different hues of warm reds, yellows, oranges, and browns and the temperature will be borderline perfect: warm during the wedding ceremony and cool for the dance reception! What better way to celebrate the seasons changing (and the start of our busiest months) than with my favorite fall wedding trends!
