Nobody is concerned about my safety when I leave the house to DJ an event. I might pull a muscle lifting speakers, stub a finger on a bad cut, or get a beer spilled on me. But aside from traversing Nashville traffic, I have a pretty safe job. Every now and again, I am reminded of those in the world that do NOT have a safe job. It's hard for me to get my head around jobs that are absolute necessities but carry with them a chance of serious injury or even death. I would like to remind everyone that no matter your political leaning, please remember that every Police Officer, Soldier and Firefighter risks their lives every day they clock in. It is a selfless act that they perform. This was weighing on me heavily as I prepared for Adam and Julia's wedding.
