What is Team Snyder Thankful For?

Whitney Cadavid for Snyder Entertainment

With Thanksgiving only a few days away, we thought it was only appropriate to be a little reflective and think about we are thankful for here at Snyder Entertainment. There is no better person to speak for the heart of our company than our fearless leader, Bradley Ford.

We got Brad to write out this thoughts about what Snyder has accomplished this year, and what he is thankful for. He perfectly captured the way we all feel. Keep scrolling to read his answers!

What are you thankful for this year when you think about Snyder?

I have a lot to be thankful for this year.  Snyder Entertainment has been a huge part of my life for 5 and a half years.  It started out for me to be a way to earn extra money.  And very quickly went from extra money to full time money to a career all the way to being a business owner in just 5 years.  It has become a center in my life of friendships and family.  A sense of pride for me.  Even before I actually owned the business I always felt a sense of ownership in it.  I’m thankful because I get to entertain and be with people on some of the happiest days of their lives and because of that I get to support my family doing something I love.  I’m thankful that people all over world have something to celebrate and the fact that I’m busy means that there’s so much good out there.

What about the team are you thankful for?

I’m so thankful for the team we have in place.  This is the largest group of new blood we have ever had.  But we still have some tenured people on board.  We are all kind of figuring things out and I’m thankful that we don’t just have some club DJ’s pretending to be able to do the bigger events and weddings.  I strongly believe everyone one this team really cares about the clients and getting to know the clients….and ultimately wants to do an amazing job.  That’s so rare which is reason why we are a slow growing company.  It’s so hard to find entertainment talent that really wants to put in the time and make the relationship.  If it were easy we wouldn’t turn away 50 events a year because we are booked up.  There is something so unique about every single member and they are all so different from each other.  I love that.  I know that in moving forward these are the kind of guys I want to be surrounded by, representing my name and brand, and to just be friends with.  These guys make me happy so because I am so thankful to have them I want to do my best to push them and train them and help the fulfill any goals that they have in the future.

What experiences have you or the company had this year that have meant a lot to you?

Over the last couple of years we saw a big jump in corporate business.  This has been a goal of mine and I’m over the top thankful to those corporate planners who have started to put their trust in us.  It means more than I can say.  I LOVE being the guy that gets all the weird questions.  That means someone, somewhere thinks I can find a way to pull it off and that is exciting.  On the personal side of things I’m thankful for partners who year after year continue to ask us to be a part of their business.  I have always believed in a win-win relationship, and I always try to keep that goal in front of me.  We have done some big events this year like Snap On Tools, Bad Boy in Biloxi, Amway and all these events have really pushed us to be creative, sharp and results driven.  We have had to learn some things.  I had to buy confetti canons.  I mean don’t think I’m not thankful for that!

So there you have it folks. Brad said what we all were feeling: we’re thankful for each other and our team; we’re thankful for what we get to experience by working at different events, and we’re thankful for you all as our fabulous clients.

2018 isn’t over yet, but we’re already looking ahead to 2019 and what it will hold for us. We hope that you will choose to bring us into your future events and special occasions!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Nashville DJ Diaries | Bad Boy Mowers Dealer Event

Every once in a while, we like to take a break from event tips and advice, and show you what we’ve been up to lately. At the end of last month, Snyder Entertainment had the pleasure of serving as one of the vendors at the Bad Boy Mowers Annual Dealer Meeting, hosted in Biloxi, MS, hosted at the Beau Rivage Resort and Convention Center.

It. Was. A. Party.

The dealer’s meeting was a three-day convention, that ended with a bang. Attendees were invited on the final night to a “Vacation Movie” themed party, where National Lampoon-themed costumes were encouraged. The theme was boldly embraced, and the result was exactly as wild as you’d expect a National Lampoon party to be. Scroll to see the photos and vendors we partnered with on this epic event!

Snyder was honored to serve this event by not only providing musical entertainment, but giving the event extra flair with custom-made Wacky Game Board tables, actors who led the casino games, a custom Pig-in-a-Poke Trivia game, a green screen with European Vacation backdrops for photos, a social roamer photo booth, canons stocked with plenty of confetti and streamers, and plenty of good music.

We’re not just DJs here at Snyder, we’re party planners and all-around entertainers. It was exciting to partner with these other vendors to make this party the success that it was:

Working with our good friends at Destination Nashville we got the opportunity to pull off one of the biggest events of the year. Every year Bad Boy Mower throws down an incredible party for their dealers. This year's theme was Family Vacation and yes the entire party was themed after the Vacation Movies.

Mid-October went as quickly as it came, and although it might of been fleeting, it was incredibly memorable for our team. Partnering with beautiful venues such as Saddle Woods Farm, and great vendors such as Greg + Jess Photography, Nyk + Cali, Barbra's Catering, and many more made this weekend that much more enjoyable. From beginning to end, this was the most perfect weekend of weddings to squeeze in the middle of our busiest month. See for yourself..
