Nashville DJ Diaries | Fall Wedding Fêtes

Mid-October went as quickly as it came, and although it might of been fleeting, it was incredibly memorable for our team. Partnering with beautiful venues such as Saddle Woods Farm, and great vendors such as Greg + Jess Photography, Nyk + Cali, Barbra's Catering, and many more made this weekend that much more enjoyable. This was the most perfect weekend of weddings to squeeze in the middle of our busiest month. See for yourself..

A 6 o'clock in the evening ceremony was the perfect timing for this gorgeous wedding at Saddle Woods Farm. Both the Bride and Groom's Grandfathers officiated the ceremony, a sweet and personal touch that will always be memorable. Surrounded by roughly 200 of their closest friends and family Lanie and Cameron vowed forever to one another, and before we knew it, it was time to start the reception! They wanted a high energy reception and that's just how they got the celebration started, making their Bridal party and grand introductions to the song "This Is What You Came For" by Calvin Harris. They went directly into their first dance, dancing to "Islands In The Stream" by Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton. After a wonderful meal prepared by Barbara's, and cake cutting with the wedding cake designed by Dessert Designs, it was time for the toasts. Lanie's sister, Audrey, and her Maid of Honor, Marie, rapped their speech to the tune of Ice Ice Baby; it was hilarious! After the toast it was what time for the Father/Daughter dance, but before she started dancing, Lanie told Brian to pause because she just couldn't dance with her Dad without a coat of fresh lipstick; another funny memory.  With fresh lipstick, Lanie joined her Dad on the dance floor as they danced to "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon, while Cameron and his Mom danced to "Do I Make You Proud" by Taylor Hicks.  Lanie's good friend Lesley Patterson had a surprise dance that nobody knew about beforehand and it was a huge surprise and another awesome element added to their reception. To keep the energy up during the reception, our Newlyweds chose songs by DMX, LL Cool J, Stevie Nix and Outkast to name a few. The dance floor was packed until the very end, and this was a celebration that we wish we could do all over again. Congratulations, Lanie and Cameron.. Cheers to you both!

Wedding Coordinator, Decadent DetailsEvents| Photography, Dana Rogers   Ceremony Chair Rentals, Classic Party Rentals | Decor Rentals, Liberty Party   Catering, 8 Lavender Lane | Bartenders, Details Nashville | Videography, Peerless Weddings

From the first meeting that Brian and I had with Anna and Austin, we knew they were an incredible couple that just wanted to have an intimate, romantic wedding day. With the help of Susan and Kelly at Decadent Details, they created just that. From the beginning of the ceremony through the end of the reception, there was magic in the air. They came into their reception with the Bridal Party to "Offend Maggie" by Deerhoof, and went directly into their first dance. For their first dance as Husband and Wife, they chose "I Only Have Eyes For You" by Rubin-Warren. After a delicious meal prepared by 8 Lavender Lane, it was time to get the celebration started! Their custom created "Must Play" list for Snyder Entertainment looked something like this:

  • Let's Stay Together- Al Green
  • I Gotta Feeling- Black Eyed Peas
  • Boom Clap- Charli XCX
  • Good Times- Jamie XX
  • Ignition- R Kelly
  • Quando, quando, quando- Michael Buble
  • This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)- Talking Heads
  • Can't Stop The Feeling!- Justin Timberlake

It was a really high energy wedding from the beginning, and we're still so happy that we were able to be a part of it. Congratulations again, Austin + Anna.. Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness together!
