This was an honestly fun night! The evening started with a gorgeous ceremony, and with a quick flip of the room by the talented staff at Houston Station, it was time for dinner. The details of this wedding were everywhere. From the lighting, to the table decor, the floral arrangements, the succulents and geometric shapes added a modern flair, and then there were the chandeliers. The chandeliers, made by Southern Sky, were incredible to say the least. So unique and gorgeous! The other part of this wedding that really stood out was Jacqueline’s dress. We see wedding dresses every weekend but there was just something unique about this one and the way she wore it. Simple yet stunning!
After dinner and toasts, it was time for their first dance as Husband + Wife. Brad really enjoyed the first dance which was to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. It's always great to have a first dance be to a throwback song. We played a variety but the main focus of the music was on 90’s hip hop, today’s top 40 and current hip hop. This group stayed together on the dance floor no matter what was playing, and that in itself was a testament to their friendship and family. Jacqueline and Chris wanted to end their reception a little differently than most weddings. Instead of building up to a BIG last dance song, we stopped the build and brought it back down to end on a slower note. First we did Al Green “Let’s Stay Together” into “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, and then played “One Love” by Bob Marley as the last song of the night. It was a refreshing way to end a crazy dance party, and a wonderful night for our team. We are so happy that we were able to be a part of their special day, and that we were able to partner with wonderful vendors as well. We wish Jacqueline + Chris a lifetime of love.. Cheers!

DJ, Emcee | Brain Snyder + Tech | Casey Davis
Planning, Coordination + Floral, Mint Springs Farm | Photographer, Teal Photography | Videography, Dallas Wilson Wedding Films | Catering, G Catering | Desserts, Dulce Desserts | Photo Booth, Snyder Entertainment
Oh what a night! Spring sunshine, cool breeze, a soulful singer with a lively guitar, a Bride and her Groom. This day came packaged and ready to duplicate. Chris and Wesley had people all the way from Hong Kong to attend their celebration of love. The photo booth was a huge hit, and one of my favorite templates to custom create! Dance floor was packed and wrapping around the barn when Brian played "C'mon Ride the Train" and some the biggest hits from the 90's. During the Mother/Son dance, Wesley's nephew, walked onto the dance floor and mirrored their dance moves to really steal the show. It was such a fun day celebrating Chris and Wesley, and we cannot wait to see the classic shots from Teale Photography and the classy video from Dallas Wilson Wedding Films!

DJ, Emcee | J Clark Anderson

Long Hollow Nursery was an especially beautiful setting with all of the lush greenery surrounding the property. J Clark was the assigned DJ + Emcee for this wedding, so he provided music for the ceremony until the very end of the reception. For ceremony music, Peyton + Chris chose songs such as"A Thousand Years," Adele's cover of "Make you Feel My Love," and "Canon in D" for the Processional. After they were officially announced as Husband and Wife, Peyton + Chris walked out of the ceremony to Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel." We had a guest DJ for the first dance.. Peyton's son, DJ, came up and helped J Clark press play on their first dance, "Never Stop" by SafetySuit. Other special song choices included:
- Father Daughter Dance, "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts
- Mother Son Dance, "A Song For Mama" by Boyz II Men
- Wedding Party Introductions, "Bring 'em Out" by T.I.
- Cake Cutting, "I Choose You" by Sara Bareilles
- Bouquet Toss, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" by Beyonce
This was a fun celebration of love, and we're so glad that we were able to be a part of it! Congratulations again, Peyton + Chris!
