The 90's are back and more popular than they were, well in the 90's. From fashion trends, to the music that's being requested at events, it's safe to assume that the decade is in style. The Clinton's are trying to get back into the White House, Pokemon is all the rage, Third Eyed Blind has a top hit, and the country is still obsessing over the O.J. Simpson case. If you're like me, when you think about the 90's it only feels like yesterday, not 16 years ago.. Where has the time gone?
- Missy Elliot has a new single out titled, "WTF (Where They From)" Even our First Lady Michelle Obama was recently on Carpool Karaoke jamming to some of Missy's best hits.
- Gun-N-Roses is on the road again. As are Blink 182, Rob Zombie and Korn. And let's not forget that members of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam are forming a super group, while the Backstreet Boys are currently in the studio. *Brian breaks into song, Backstreets baaaaack!!*
- There may not be any other actress who screams "nineties" more than Winona Ryder. Her 1994 film "Reality Bites" is required viewing if you are discussing the decade. Well Ryder's back thanks to Netflix's new horror mystery "Stranger Things." Who cares that she's playing a mom now? She's always be the original Winona in our hearts.
- A few reboots to keep a look out for.. Fuller House is on Netflix, Gilmore Girls is coming out soon to catch up with your favorite mother-daughter duo. A follow up is in the works for movies such as Cruel Intentions, Power Rangers, Bay Watch, and my personal favorite, First Wives Club!
- And you can wash all that '90s goodness down with some Crystal Pepsi.
