Highlights from three beautiful weddings that closed out our month of August. Among all of the corporate events that we were a part of the past few weeks, these weddings added some much needed romance with touches of rustic farm venues, beautiful decor, greenery and summer floral. We started postin' up blogs in February of 2014, and although we have covered some of the most beautiful weddings since then, we feel like every once and awhile it would be nice to recap some past weddings that we haven't featured online yet. Let's face it, you're going to have a great party, you're going to have an amazing DJ (especially if you hire one from Snyder Entertainment) whose going to be playing the best, most popular, dance-worthy songs all night long, BUT you're going to have a handful of guests who just aren't into dancing. And if you don't have something entertaining going on for your non-dancing guests to indulge in besides the dessert table, then you're going to have some guests who will probably leave out early. As someone who is married to a great guy who doesn't always enjoy getting his groove on, it can be frustrating to leave early simply because there isn't anything for him to "do." Last Friday, Brian and I took a quick tour of Green Door Gourmet. Not only is it beyond beautiful, but the healthy lifestyle, organic farm, quaint market, and garden full of wildflowers and butterflies makes it a destination for families and brides to be! Alison is the event manager on the farm, and we must say you will love working with her on your big day! If you haven't had a chance to visit, make it a point to stop by this summer and ask them about hosting your next event!
