We used to be in the habit of sharing a new DJ Diaries entry on the last Thursday of every month. This was back when…oh, you know…events regularly happened that we could write about each month. We had a bit of a pause on live events for a decent chunk of 2020, and therefore DJ Diary posts weren’t being written!
We are happy that life is slowly returning to celebrating events, big and small. Of course, safety remains a top priority of ours, and we are always happy to accommodate any additional safety measures that are requested by our couples and clients. But, as we’ve said from the beginning, extra safety measures do not have to stop a party!
Today, we’re sharing a great DJ Diaries highlight, and this one is re-capping one special wedding from this summer. Jessie and Tyler’s wedding is special to us for a couple of reasons:
1.) Jessie is Brad’s niece! Brad is our owner, and you’ve likely spoken with him or worked with him if you’ve had any exposure to a Snyder Entertainment event.
2.) We were able to provide a variety of services to this one wedding alone. So often, we hear from couples who want a DJ for their wedding, but they also ask: ‘What else do you guys do?’
That’s a big question, and we think it’s better to show, instead of simply tell. Let’s take a look at all of the things we were able to provide for one, single wedding.
Lighting
From uplighting to dance floor lighting, we have what you need to make your venue sparkle! We especially love the way that this market street lighting looked at Jessie and Tyler’s wedding!
Yard Games
From cocktail party entertainment, to a break from the energy of a reception dance floor, yard games are great for a wedding of any size! We brought corn hole, giant Connect 4, and Giant Jenga to this reception.
Photo Booths
Our open-air photo booths are such a hit with couples everywhere! We offer both print and social booths, and they aren’t obtrusive or require tons of space. On top of that, we love to turn an accent wall into a photo-op! We have extra ring lights and social roaming booths that can be used to turn a unique corner of your event space into a photo backdrop!
Plenty of Music
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the music! When we bring music to your event, it means that we are going to make sure everything sounds good, there will be microphones for toasts and other special announcements, and that your DJ has a full understanding of your timeline so he can serve as MC and keep your event flowing!
Cold Sparks
For a dramatic effect, we can add Cold Sparks to any special moment to your event! They are great for first dances, or send offs…and Jessie and Tyler used them for both!
