Here at Snyder Entertainment, we have always had a very digital, no-frills approach to booking. This has been to accommodate the busy lives of our couples and event planners, who often need one less in-person meeting on their calendars.
But now, as our country practices the art of social distancing, our virtual features are even more handy. Let’s walk through the average booking process of hiring a DJ here at Snyder Entertainment. You can get all of the music squared away for your event from the comfort of your own couch, which the world needs now more than ever!
Step One: Select Your Package
We offer packages that provide DJ services, DJ + lighting, DJ + photo booth, or all three bundled together. When you first reach out to use about your event, we will review the different options with you. Our team is prepared to answer your questions via phone call, text, Skype, email, or whatever method you are most comfortable with! We have videos and photos to share of each of our services, so you can make an informed decision about which package is the best fit for you!
Step Two: E-Sign A Contract
Our contracts are digital, and allow you to e-sign from your computer. Signing a contract with us reserves your date, and it’s a completely virtual exchange!
Step Three: Login to Your Online Portal
Our online portal account is where all of your most critical entertainment information is stored. This is where you can select your special songs, share the timeline of your day, select songs that you don’t want to hear during your reception, and much more! This personalized account lets your DJ learn a little more about your tastes and personality, and helps you stay organized with your music selections.
Step 4: ‘Meet’ Your DJ
As your wedding date approaches, your DJ will reach out to you and begin discussing the specifics in your account. The good news about this, is technology allows for these initial meetings to happen virtually. You can express all of your hopes and dreams for your big day just as well over a video conference!
Events may be postponed, but we don’t need to pause all planning. We are fortunate to live in a time where so much of the details can be decided upon virtually! Planning the music for your big day is a great thing to figure out from home, while you have plenty of extra time on your hands!
Be sure to reach out to us if you have any questions, or if you want to chat about availability for the coming months!
