This was a fun wedding; one of my favorites in terms of decor honestly. The brides favorite color was lavender and with the help of Mint Springs Farm they created a spring color palette that wasn’t overboard, but looked elegantly vintage almost like a scene out of a 50’s movie. The first dance was “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young which is one of newer favorites. Other than the first dance, the best special song moment was the father daughter dance. Caverly’s Dad kept the song he chose a secret with both of his daughters weddings. He picked songs from their past that were special to each of them but didn’t tell them what he chose. So to see her face when the song started playing was priceless. For their playlist we ranged all over but there was a big emphasis on early 00’s hip hop and all the big sing alongs. My favorite dance floor moment was definitely using 80’s songs for a big ending; we played “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money and mashed it up with “Don’t Stop Believing” and had everyone on the dance floor singing at the top of their lungs. It was incredible!
