When one of the largest technology companies in the world reaches out to you for their Holiday Event; you know immediately that you have to Go Big or Go Home! Just over 138,000 employees call Dell their place of work and Nashville is glad to have them in our back yard. Dell Nashville has chosen Snyder Entertainment for their corporate entertainment over the last four years to create the atmosphere for their end of year event.
Executives from all over the country flooded into Marathon Music Works as the event started to unfold. Their guest lists for this event easily exceeded 1200 people and they entered into the vast lobby of Marathon. Upon arrival, it was a distinct opportunity to brand the lobby and take ownership of this venue. We used our full color LED GOBO lights to project the Dell Nashville and Microsoft logos on those classic brick walls above the bar. Once the attendees made their ways down the steps they were greeted with the classic Dell logo projected onto another wall directly above our exclusive recording booth. We had pre selected 20 country favorites and 20 hip hop songs that Dell employees could choose from, perform and get a USB recording of their performance. With the dim lighting and our our custom crafted decor lighting, it made it feel just like a studio on Music Row.
After the grand entrance is when we knew we really had to grab their attention. Immediately as Dell team members came into the venue space we had our custom printed and designed step and repeat banners. These are always a great option to create that VIP feel. Our lightning fast printers had photos in their hands just moments after they snapped their picture. Another recommendation could be red carpets and velvet ropes to really dress up the experience.
From the step and repeats, Team Dell found our latest hot trend for corporate events....social media booths. Our latest booths utilizes digital props which you can then send to your social accounts, text to your phone or simply email the file. This was a big hit all night long.
People love photos and we gave them a lot to love for their event. We had two other photo opportunities as they simply provide great entertainment, team building memories and overall bonding. Our traditional photo booth printed off photo strips with our in house design team creating the look and the feel with our wide array of backdrops. The final photo opportunity was our Green Screen booths that had classic backgrounds from Nashville like lower Broadway, Nissan Stadium, The Parthenon and more. These were printing out 4x6 photos all night long and was probably one of the most visited stations of the evening.
G Catering was on site for the catering and I am really not for sure how to articulate how incredibly awesome their food taste. The food is really out of this world and if it is possible to top that, they may just do that with their own presentation of the food stations. They are absolutely incredible. For every compliment I could give them, we could probably think of three more.
We utilized our intelligent lighting that was controlled all over the venue through our iPads. Typically we leave the lighting on one static color as people enter the venue and while eating. Once the event starts to pick up, we can use the subtle magic of slowly fading colors to increase the pace of the event without even having to say anything. That is a little bit of event magic behind the scenes...wink, wink! Once the guests were full from food and drinks, all of the gifts like Yeti coolers, gift cards and xboxes were given out...it was time to dance. Our headliner, Brian Snyder, was the DJ for the event. We rocked through classic 90's hits, hip hop favorites and even a break dance routine dance off in the middle of the set. Another fantastic night for an incredible company. Thank you Dell Nashville for letting us be a part of your holiday spectacular. Glad to know that you guys work hard and play hard too!
