For most of the local entertainment companies in Nashville, it would be so unusual that we would have two traditional style weddings intertwined into also being two destination weddings, and probably even more rare when we mention that they were both in the exact same weekend. However, thanks to our team of incredibly talented DJ’s, Emcee’s, and techs- this was just another wedding filled weekend! Not only were both of these weddings enjoyable and easy in the best of ways, but they were both incredible couples to partner with from start to finish! From Pittspurg, PA to Washington DC, these two couples were set on saying their "I Do’s" in Music City, and not only just in Nashville but at two of the simply coolest venues downtown: The Cordelle + The Hermitage Hotel. When we initially partnered with All In Good Taste Productions, an event planning company in Pittsburg, we were excited and also a little terrified. I say terrified because in case you haven’t seen photos from a “Northern style” wedding in awhile, then let me tell you: they are all out PARTAAAAYS. (Currently trying to do my best impression of Annie in the movie Bridesmaids in my mind.) But seriously, our fellow Americans up North know how to thrown a dang wedding; from the over-the-top decor pieces to the China dinner plates, antiqued wine glasses, and sterling silver flatware and beyond. We knew that they designed with every detail in mind, and thankfully for our team, we tend to do the exact same thing when it comes to event prep. They requested a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour music, so we immediately reached out to Viva La Strings to bring the heavenly sounds of strings. Brian Snyder himself was the team lead for this wedding and he absolutely reminded us all why he’s the man, the myth, the legend when it comes to the entertainment world. Brian included all of their requested songs while mixing in some of todays most popular music, yesterdays slow jams, and tomorrows top hits. This was one heck of a party to be a part of, and we loved getting to meet new friends, celebrate the bonds of marriage, and toast to another hot event at The Hermitage Hotel. I had the pleasure of meeting Cannon + Brooke during one of their early planning stage trips to Nashville in my home office, and I knew instantly after meeting each of them that our team just had to be a part of their wedding day! Their outgoing personalities, attention to detail, and dreamy wedding day plans were a few of the elements that I knew our team could match with service and execution! Kam Patterson was the team lead on their day, as he’s my go to guy when it comes to weddings and events at The Cordelle. Kam killed it with a fun playlist of easy to dance to hits and made sure to hit every timeline moment right on time. Not only did we provide DJ and Emcee services, but we also provided our wireless, LED uplighting and a custom designed monogram gobo light. The uplights were set to create an inviting and romantic atmosphere after the ceremony, and were later changed to create a fun, festive celebratory ambiance. This was an incredible celebration for two incredible people and I am so glad that our team was able to be a part of their memorable day! Congratulations again, Cannon + Brooke!
