This past weekend, Snyder Entertainment was fortunate to team up with the town of Nolensville to help kick off the July 4th weekend with the towns own Star Spangled Celebration! The evening included live music acts, food trucks, games, local vendors, and of course fireworks. Our own Brian Snyder headed up the event as the Master of Ceremonies which really helped the event staff to better connect with the crowd, creating excitement and much anticipation. Snyder Entertainment created a special Snapchat geo-filter that allowed social media attendees to send out their favorite snaps and include the towns logo, the theme of the evening, and small town graphics. There really isn't anything like small town America, and we're glad we started our weekend off right: in the town we love, surrounded by people we love, celebrating our freedom.
Master of Ceremonies: Brian Snyder
Brian worked closely with the production manager on the timeline for announcements, break lengths, the event schedule as a whole. He lead the committee in writing a generic script for sponsors, prepping sponsors with pre-interview questions, and when they were roughly 15 minutes way from going on stage, Brian had a backstage call by walking sponsors through the on-stage process- when to grab a microphone, where to stand, etc. Brian also worked closely with sound techs to control the front of house sound and back of house sound (equipment management). We also worked with the bands on their set lists, so we knew the exact order of songs, making for easy transitions. Brian also worked hand-in-hand with the pyrotechnic team for the grand finale of the fireworks display by creating and customizing a playlist. Creating the playlist included synchronizing the timing from the time it takes to ignite the fireworks, send them out, set-up the next group, and so on. Oh and did we mention his pants? #Merica
