Nashville DJ Diaries | Welcoming the Start of June Weddings

Mint Springs Farm | Houston Station | Wren's Nest | Two Rivers Mansion |  Belle Meade Plantation | Green Door Gourmet | Grand Ole Opry | Omni Nashville

Those were just a few of our venue locations last weekend as we started off the month of June, and it was literally one to remember. In the short span of three days we were able to be a part of 10 events! We had Brides bringing their Grooms to tears as they came down the aisle, speeches + toasts that reminisced on days gone by and celebrated the years to come, lighting that was show-stopping-ly gorgeous, music that kept the dance floor packed for hours at a time, keepsake photo booth pictures, and much more. Our team had nothing but great things to say when I asked them to describe each of their events. A thank you to all of the venues, vendors, photographers, and clients for allowing us to showcase your beautiful work for our readers.. Enjoy!

Venue: Mint Springs Farm | Wedding Planner: Kesha Gooding

Catering: Chef Penelope

DJ/MC: Brian Snyder | Music Mixer: Casey Davis

Highlights: This wedding included a large group of Tennessee alumni, a lot of love, family, and friendship. It was a rainy day but there was a lot of love in the air. During the reception, Ty's fraternity brothers from UT's Farmhouse Fraternity sang a tribute to Ty, and the best man rhymed his toast to the new couple. Hannah's Maid of Honor gave Ty a "marriage toolbox" of tips on how to deal with Hannah, which got everyone laughing. This group danced all night and many times over requested their alumni anthem, Rocky Top. The atmosphere was fun and whimsical, and we enjoyed being a part of this wedding! Congratulations Hanna + Ty!

Highlights: A romantic night of love with classic touches from the vintage car, the original wooden pews, market street lighting hanging above as this couple said "I Do," and plenty of dancing into the night. Rebekah and Stephen already knew their DJ and friend, Brad Ford, so planning this wedding was a lot of fun for them! This couples first dance was to "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Haley Reinhart. They requested classic songs by Etta James, Righteous Brothers, and Whitney Houston during their reception. It was so much fun, and we know Brad really enjoyed being a part of it! Highlights: This wedding was one to remember! From the second it started until the very end of the night, full of great people and a lot of love!  The photo booth was packed all night with guests enjoying another element of entertainment. The guests were split down the middle- half Ole Miss fans (the Bride + Groom) and half Georgia fans, and when Matt asked 'are you ready?!' the room erupted into Hotty Toddy, and it felt like the middle of football season. A sweet surprise the day of- when Sarah + Josh came in from sunset photos before the cake cutting, Josh had his guitar and sang "I Have and I Always Will" by Dave Barnes. Also during the reception, Josh and some of his buddies who used to be in a cover band together called "Out of Snync," sang N'Snync's hit "As Long As You Love Me." The second the dance floor opened it was packed until the very end, dancing to Top 40 Hits, the Wobble, the Cupid Shuffle, you name it. At the very end of the night there wasn't one person in their seat from grandparents, uncles, aunts, family, friends, out singing and dancing to to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Aretha Franklin's "Respect." Thank you to Katie Painter Photography for sharing your gorgeous photos with us! We had such a great time at this wedding, and we wish Sarah + Josh a life as beautiful as their wedding day! Cheers!

Rachel's grandmother married the newlywed couple under the pavilion. Soft floral, gold accents, and the Brides gorgeous gown made this wedding literally a perfect summertime soirée.  For the Father/Daughter dance, Rachel remembered her Dad and danced with her brothers and sister, a very touching moment. The dance floor was packed playing song requests from the 90's including Nelly, TLC, Destiny's Child, and Britney Spears.
