New Music Monday! Are You In With The Trends?

This Monday our team is coming off the busiest October to date follow by starting November with 10 events in it's first week. Least to say, they are all recovering today! I've given them a little break from DJ Diaries and wanted to do a break out series, New Music Mondays! Many of our clients look to the Top 40 hits list to help add music to their event playlists. So, this series will not only recognize new chart climbing hits, but it may also open new musical doors to artists and songs you may not be so familiar with! November has a plethora of huge album releases: Adele, Justin Bieber, Tim McGraw, and Ellie Goulding are only naming a few! This first edition will be a delightful recap of the new music that's graced our ears in the first week of November.

1. "Hello" - Adele

I would be doing this song a huge injustice if I tried to describe it in my own words. Adele's comeback single has already broken multiple records and sold over 1.1 million copies. Hello, Adele. Welcome back!

2. "I'll Show You" - Justin Bieber

Y'all can hate all day, but this kid is talented. You can't deny his catchy tunes and heartfelt lyrics in his new single. The video shows him in deep thought and reflection, and then cuts to him skate boarding and running through green pastures. You almost feel bad for him?...Nope. Maybe not so much. However, Bieber, we still belieb!

3. "Tennessee Whiskey" - Chris Stapleton

Funny story. This song isn't new, but it was new to us when we watched Chris and Justin Timberlake perform it live at last week's CMA Awards. The world is also now petitioning for Justin Timberlake to record a country album.

4. "Hotline Bling" - Drake

Drake, did you know how many funny Vines would be created after the release of your video? If you have only seen the Vines, then watch this video. I personally don't see what's so bad about his dance moves? They are certainly better than mine!

5. "Die A Happy Man" - Thomas Rhett

Mark my words: This will be one of the top most played first dance songs for 2016 weddings. Not only is it one of the sweetest love songs, but Thomas Rhett and his wife are adorable. His wife is his love interest in the video, and if you want to see more from them, I suggest stalking their Instagram accounts.
