Highlights:
I'm not sure where to begin because to know Lindsey and Lunden (casually known as LD) is to know their love story. A history of love that takes us back to the early days of high school, roughly 10 years ago. Lindsey and LD were high school sweethearts that we all knew would end up together, and now after all of this time, they finally found one another again. And on October 22, 2016 they said I Do, as we all hoped that they one day would..
A 6 o'clock ceremony was perfect timing as the sun started to set and the fall air began to settle in for the night. Groomsmen and Bridesmaids came down the aisle to "At Last" by Etta James, while our Bride made her way down the aisle to "Back at One" by Brian McKnight. After a sweet ceremony, guests were ushered into the reception barn for hors d'oeuvres, while the family and bridal party took pictures. About thirty minutes later, it was time for the bridal party introductions and the grand entrance of our Newlyweds; we all came into the reception barn dancing to Justin Timberlakes hit, "Can't Stop the Feeling!" After introductions, Lindsey and LD went into their first dance as Husband + Wife, to the song "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw. As guests finished dinner, we toasted our Newlyweds with speeches given by Lunden's Dad and I. (I tried really hard not to cry during mine!) After our toasts, Lindsey and LD had their cake cutting and bouquet + garter tosses! Later into the night, Lindsey joined her Dad and Lunden joined his Mom on the dance floor for their combined special dances, and they chose to dance to the song "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. After those sweet moments, it was time to open the dance floor! Brian played songs by Bruno Mars, Sir Mix Alot, Nelly, Jay Z, and Michael Jackson to get people on their feet and it didn't take long; soon the dance floor was packed. Song requests that brought back high school memories kept us all literally on the dance floor until the very end of the night. Lindsey's nephew, Colton, was stationed at the DJ booth with Brian all night, selecting songs and changing the up light colors. Colton was quite the pro!! Lindsey + Lunden also incorporated a custom made monogram light that shined perfectly on the wall of the venue. This wedding was such a fun day and night for me, and I still feel so honored that I was able to stand by Lou's side as she married the man of her dreams. I'm also so glad that Snyder Entertainment got to provide the best wedding day entertainment services and played an interactive role in their special day from the music to the lighting. Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.. Cheers to you both!
